Raman spectrometer system (532 or 785 nm, USB)
To get a complete Raman system, you combine three items:
- Miniature Raman spectrometer, incl software
- Miniature Raman probe
- Laser (532 or 785 nm)
The modules can either for maximum flexibility be delivered separately (connected by fiber optics) or the probe and spectrometer can be integrated into a casing about 15x10x3 cm.
Miniature spectrometer for Raman and NIR measurements (USB)
For those who want an affordable spectrometer in a really small size, Serstech offers an integrated miniature spectrometer suitable for Raman and NIR measurements. For Raman measurements, it attaches via fiber to a Raman probe, which in turn is attached to a suitable light source (laser). You connect the mini-spectrometer to a PC via USB and Serstech’s dedicated software will then display your data and allow for analysis of spectra. These are data for the 785 nm spectrometer (R785):
- Size: 45 x 35 x 15 mm
- Weight: 50g
- Resolution: <1 nm (~10 cm-1)
- Spectral range: 780 – 990 nm (<2500 cm-1)
- Detector: Un-cooled CCD
Please e-mail ph@serstech.com for full datasheets of the R785 or R532 models.
Miniature Raman probe
If you need a very small Raman system, Serstech offers a miniaturized Raman probe suitable for 532 or 785 nm fiber laser sources as excitation wavelength. Delivered with input (laser) and output (Raman scattered light) fiber connectors. Easy mounting to ½” posts (M4 thread).
- Size: 42 x 20 x 15 mm
- Weight: 40g
- Working distance: ~4-5 mm
- Spectral range: 300 - 4400 cm-1

The world's smallest spectrometer chip / grating
Serstech's patented micro-spectrometer chip is an optical component fully integrated on a chip. It is highly customizable making it ideal for measurements of:
![]()
- color,
- absorption,
- fluorescence, and
- Raman.
The presently available chip offers several advantages, including:
- high resolution (sub 1 nm) and wide free spectral range (>100 nm)
- extremely small size (16.5 x 15.0 x 1 mm)
- easy integration to input fiber, detector/CCD and flush mounting on a board
- competitive volume pricing
- optional on-chip fluidics
Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) - nano-surfaces
Each substance has a unique "optical fingerprint" that can be captured using Raman Spectroscopy. The Raman scattered light is however very weak and an enhancement is often required to be able to detect it. Serstech supplies SERS-surfaces that have been measured to give several orders of magnitude amplification in independent tests.
