Serstech's  micro-spectrometer chip is an optical component fully integrated on a chip. It is highly customizable making it ideal for measurements of:

Micro-spectrometer - board

For those who need the convenience of a fully working spectrometer, Serstech offers a micro-spectrometer board. This can optionally be mounted inside a protective enclosure. Just attach a light source via a standard input (SNA) and connect a PC via the USB connector. A basic software package running on the PC will then show and record your spectra.

Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy - surfaces

Each substance has a unique "optical fingerprint" that can be captured using Raman Spectroscopy. This fingerprint is however very weak and an enhancement is often required to be able to detect it. Serstech supplies SERS surfaces that have been measured to give seven orders of magnitude amplification in independent tests.

Custom designs

Serstech has the ability to customize spectrometers with integrated micro channels, specimen chambers, SERS, various attached CCDs, electronics, software, interfaces and housings. Suitable frequency range is 250 - 1500 nm, ideally 650 - 1000 nm. Sub-1 nm resolution is possible.
