Serstech presentation at Red Herring ETRE conference

RedHerrngETRE, now in its 19th year, assembled an exclusive, invitation only, group of leading CEOs, entrepreneurs and financiers from the ICT industries worldwide. It provided a forum for business leaders to discover innovative technologies, secure funding, establish new alliances, solidify existing partnerships and exchange insights. Over 700 leaders from 40 countries were expected this year in Stockholm.

New version of micro-spectrometer chip released

Serstech AB, a leader in the micro-spectrometer based sensing market, has today released a new version of its micro-spectrometer chip. The extremely small format allows customers to build very small optical sensor solutions that can extend into larger networks of sensors. Applications include color measurements, absorption, fluorescence, and Raman spectroscopy.
The micro-spectrometer chip is available for immediate delivery and volume orders.

Serstech in charge of business workshop at EOS

The European Optical Society Annual Meeting 2008 is the most important event of the EOS. It was held in Paris on the occasion of the OPTO-exhibition. As part of the business track, Serstech made a presentation of its micro-spectrometer and lead  a workshop on new technologies and components required for innovative lab-on-chip solutions. Serstech presents at Nanotech Northern Europe 2008

Leading researchers and companies gathered in Copenhagen for Europe’s largest annual nanotechnology conference and exhibition to hear about latest research findings, to convey visions for the market impact of nanotechnology and to demonstrate commercial products and tools at the exhibition. The conference covered a range of topics, including energy, health, electronics, food, construction, water, investment and safety. Serstech was part of the “investment program”.

Serstech delivers SERS surfaces to defense customer

Serstech AB, a leader in the micro-spectrometer based sensing market, has delivered several versions of its nano-structured enhancement surfaces to a defense customer. The purpose is to evaluate the suitability for chemical and biological threat detection.

Serstech awarded government contract

Serstech AB, a leader in the micro-spectrometer based sensing market, has been awarded a contract for research on chemical and biological threat detection. The customer is a national agency.

Serstech selected for explosives detection research program Xsense

Serstech, a leader in the micro-spectrometer based sensing market, has been selected as a partner to the Danish Xsense research project on “Miniaturized Sensors for Explosives Detection in Air”. It addresses reliability, selectivity, stability and cost in the development of a compact device for explosives detection.
To achieve these goals a number of advanced sensor technologies are combined with advanced data processing technology to provide the grounds for efficient and precise detection of particles in an environment.
